Belarus is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe bordered by Russia to the northeast, Ukraine to the south, Poland to the west, and Lithuania and Latvia to the northwest.
Most of the foreign citizens need a visa to enter Belarus unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries or if their visa had been approved in advance for collection on arrival. Belarus settled visa-free travel for the citizens of 75 states for 30 days.

TYPES OF BELARUS VISA
The Republic of Belarus provides the following types of visas:
Transit visa with the right of single, double or multiple transit through the territory of the Republic of Belarus within 2 days
Short-term visa with validity up to 90 days with the right of single, double or multiple entry and the right to stay for up to 90 days
for a purpose of business, for participation in sport or cultural events
for tourism
for private purposes
to study
for employment
for religious reasons
for the implementation of humanitarian programs
for visiting the burial places
for journalistic activity
for permanent residence;
Type D - long-term visa with validity up to 1 year with the right to stay for up to 90 days
for a purpose of business
for participation in sport or cultural events
for private purposes

In order to obtain an entry visa to Belarus, a foreigner provides the following common documents:
Visa for business, participation in sport and cultural events purpose requirements: an original letter of visa support of a legal entity, issued on the letter-head with the full name of the entity, its location and telephone number and the obligation of the legal entity to assure a foreign citizen observance of the rules of stay in the Republic of Belarus.
For long term stay:
Visa to study requirements – an original invitation of the Belarusian educational institution, approved by the Citizenship and Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, for the period, specified in the invitation, or appropriate confirmation from the Citizenship and Migration Department, sent directly to the Embassy/Consulate;
Visa For religious reasons requirements – an original letter of visa support of a religious association, issued on a letter-head with the full name of the religious association, its location and telephone number, and the obligation of the religious association to assure a foreign citizen observance of the rules of stay in the Republic of Belarus, approved by the Commissioner for Religious and Ethnic Affairs;
Visa for tourism – one of the following original documents for the period, specified in the document, but no more than 30 days:
Visa for journalistic activity – upon temporary accreditation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus
You should download visa application form, then fill out the form. Depending on your purpose of stay, you must prepare diferent documents.
Submit your visa application with required documents to the embassy or consulate. Don’t for get to bring visa fees.
Wait and collect the visa on time.
After submiting your visa application, it will take 3-10 days to process then you will inform the time to collect your visa.
All participants need to fill in the visa application form. If a question does not apply, please, write “n/a". Incomplete forms will be returned to the applicants unprocessed. The purpose of the visit must be described in detail. It is the applicant’s responsibility to check whether the information given on the form is correct. Failure to observe this requirement may result in refusal of the application.
