Official visit visa requirements
Denmark visa requirements vary from one category of visa to another. When applying for a specific visa, make sure you check the list of documents to be submitted thoroughly.
You can apply several days before your trip, sure — but it’s always best that you give enough time for the embassy to look into your application since the visa processing could take longer.
If the applicant submits his/her application to a Danish diplomatic mission (embassy or consulate general) he/she will normally have to pay a fee. Most embassies and consulates charge a €60 (about DKK 450) fee. The individual diplomatic mission can also make further demands such as extra passport photos or duplicate copies of the application. We recommend that the applicant checks with the requirements on the website of the diplomatic mission before submitting the application.
To apply for a Denmark visa, applications must complete a Denmark visa application form online then print and sign it before go to the visa application center.
