Djibouti Visa
Djibouti is a country located in the Horn of Africa. It is bordered by Eritrea in the north, Ethiopia in the west and south, and Somalia in the southeast. All visitors to Djibouti, unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries mentioned below, must obtain a visa on arrival to Djibouti or from one of the Djiboutian diplomatic missions prior to arrival.
VISA EXEMPTIONS
Nationals of Singapore do not require a visa for Djibouti.
Nationals of China holding normal passports for public affairs also do not require a visa.
Visa waiver agreement for diplomatic adr service passports was signed with Kenya in May 2018.

REQUIREMENTS OF DJIBOUTI VISA
To apply for a Djibouti visa, you should prepare all following documents. Some additional may be required in case of necessary.
- 1 application form duly completed (front & back)
- Valid Passport (at least 6 months)
- 1 Passport size photograph
- Proof of sufficient funds (A bank statement)
- Evidence of hotel reservation(s) (if necessary)
- Onward/return tickets or confirmed itinerary
- Medical clearance certificate
- Police clearance certificate

- Original diplomatic note from employing Embassy/International Organizations, describing the nature of work and length of stay in
FOR BUSINESS VISAS:
- Original letter/contract from employing company describing the nature of work and length of stay in
FOR TOURIST/VISITOR VISA:
- Travel itinerary.
- Visa Fee: $60.00 (US Dollars) payable to the Embassy of Djibouti with money order/Company check or (cash if applied in person).
- Note: For Canadian checks please add US$2.00 for bank processing Credit cards & personal checks are NOT ACCEPTED.
- Yellow Fever Vaccination is required, if traveling from an infected area.
- Visa Process time: 2 business days.
HOW TO APPLY FOR A DJIBOUTI VISA
A foreigner who wishes to obtain Djibouti tourist visa deciding to either use a visa agent or do the application process him / herself;
Make a check list of the documents that you need to submit along with your application form. Gather all the documents and keep them ready for submission.
After filling form, attach all the required documents on to the filled application form. Then submit application to the agency and wait for the visa to be processed.
