Cyprus cuisine is the mixture of Greek and Turkish cuisine. A typical Cypriot dinner will start with appetizers, dips, and salads, followed by main dishes that are mostly meat-based, and end with dessert and traditional strong coffee. 1. Halloumi

Halloumi is not only the king of the grilled cheese. It is usually packed in brine and it’s a white, salty, semi-hard cheese with no distinct flavor. Halloumi also eat with a salad, sandwich, or even pasta. Besides, this cheese is used to cook in many dishes in Cyprus.

2. Sheftalies

Sheftalies look similar to kebab, but they are far more delicious. This dish is typically made with minced lamb or pork (sometimes even both) and mixed with lots of cinnamon parsley and onion. Then they are wrapped in thin caul fat, usually from a lamb and cooked in oven or charcoal-grilled.
