TYPES OF INDONESIA VISA

Tourist | Social visa

Single-entry Business visa

If you are on a business trip to Indonesia. This is valid for six months.

Multiple-entry Business visa

If you are on a business trip to Indonesia which does not imply work in any position, you do not plan to act as an employer, but the aim of your visit is: negotiations, contracts, attending, workshops or conferences, searching for business partners or suppliers, export arrangements, etc.

Visa on arrival VOA

This type of visa can be obtained in 20 international airports of Indonesia (including Bali and Lombok airports), as well as in 23 sea ports in Indonesia.

Work visa KITAS

In Indonesia, work visa for a foreigner is issued to the employing company for an employee to work in the specific position. It is impossible to get a work visa first and look for employment afterwards.

Student visa KITAS

For studying in Indonesia.

Family visa KITAS for wife/husband

Those who have found their love here and started their family with a resident in Indonesia, have to obtain a family visa valid for 1 year with an option of annual prolongation of up to 5 years.

Retirement visa KITAS

This visa is meant for citizens of 54 countries over the age of 55 years. Visa is valid for 1 year and can be yearly prolonged for up to 5 years.

INDONESIA VISA REQUIREMENTS

Depeding on the purpose of stay in Indonesia, you have to prepare different documents for each type of visas.

Tourist visa requirements

  • An application formmust be completed in duplicate with two passport sized photographs (2×2 inch).
  • Passport must be valid for at least 6 (six) months after the date of entry;
  • A single entry Tourist Visa will be issued for up to 60 (sixty) days. A visa fee of A$ 60.00 is required and made payable only in a form of money order or company cheque to the Indonesian Embassy. Cash, personal cheque, or credit card payments will not be accepted.
  • A copy of return trip airline ticket (itinerary) from the travel agent;
  • If deemed necessary, a guarantee of the availability of funds may be required to cover living expenses while travelling in Indonesia;
  • It requires at least 3 (three) working days* to process the visa since the receipt of application and has been declared complete by the Embassy;
  • Please note that payment of the visa administration fee does not guarantee that the application will be successful. Therefore, there will be no refund of payment on unsuccessful applications; and
  • Payment of the visa administration fee does not guarantee that the application will be successful.

Business visa application

  • Passport copy
  • Bank statement showing at least $US 1,500 (IDR 20,930,684.3) on the account (must be a foreign account)
  • Return tickets showing when you enter into Indonesia and that you leave before 60 days pass
  • Indonesian embassy where you plan to pick up the visa
