Iran Visa
Comprising a land area of 1,648,195 km2 (636,372 sq mi), Iran is the second-largest country in the Middle East and the 17th-largest in the world. Visitors to Iran must obtain a visa from one of the Iranian diplomatic missions unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries or countries eligible for a visa on arrival. All visitors must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months.

IRAN VISA TYPES
Entry Visa is a permission issued for foreign experts and businessmen who travel to Iran for a limited period of time (once – twice or multiple) for economic, commercial, cultural and industrial purposes.
Transit visa is issued for a limited period of time for foreigners who intend to pass through Iran to a third country.
Pilgrimage visa is issued for foreign Muslim pilgrims for the purpose of visiting the sacred places in Iran.
Airport Transit Visa is issued for 15 Days to the applicants who intend to transit through Iran.
This visa will be issued for foreign drivers carrying cargo to Iran or other countries. For these cases, it is necessary to coordinate in advance with the Diplomatic Missions of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
This visa will be issued for foreign nationals who intend to work in Iran. The Iranian host must obtain the work permit in advance from the concerned authorities
This visa is issued for two-week stay at the ports of entry to Free Trade and industrial Areas of Iran (Kish Island, Qeshm Island and Chabahar Port), and may be extended up to six months at the request of authorities of these areas.
Student visa is issued for foreign nationals who intend to study in the Islamic republic of Iran.
Press visa is issued for journalists and representatives of foreign media and press who intend to travel to Iran for purposes relating to their profession for a specific period.
This visa is issued for holders of diplomatic and service passports who intend to travel to Iran.

HOW TO APPLY FOR AN IRAN VISA

To get this code, you must go to a travel agent, fill out the invitation form and wait for it’s processing. COST OF IRAN VISA
Fees for Iran tourist visa varies depending on the nationality of the visitor. It really depends on your nationality but, typically, prices would range from 40 to 150€. Therefore, you should contact the Iran Consulate where you intend to apply for the visa to know the exact visa application fee.
EXTENSION OF IRAN TOURIST VISA
In case you want to stay longer in Iran than the duration granted in your visa, you will have to apply for an extension. Generally an extension is not easy to be obtained in Iran and is usually granted for a maximum period of 15 days.
