Ivory Coast is a country in West Africa with a southerly facing North Atlantic Ocean coast.

Popular with holidaymakers for its golden beaches, fading French colonial heritage and traditional Senufo cultural experiences, Ivory Coast has seen its annual visitor numbers rise steadily in recent years.

Visitors to Ivory Coast must obtain a visa from one of the Ivorian diplomatic missions unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries. All visitors must hold a passport valid for 6 months.

REQUIREMENTS OF IVORY COAST VISA

Tourist Visa

  • Submit your valid passport, must be signed, and have six months remaining and contain one blank visa page.
  • 2 Visa Application Forms (blue form) fully completed and signed.
  • 2 Passport-type photographs required.
  • Copy of Airline tickets or confirmed Travel Agency/Airline Itinerary.
  • Copy of International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever must be submitted with the visa application. (orginal not required).
  • Copy of Hotel Reservation or notarized invitation from the Friends/Host in Ivory Coast.
  • Completed Cover Page and Credit Card Authorization forms (print from browser).
  • Copy of itinerary showing round trip transportation.
  • Copy of U.S. Alien Registration Card (Green Card), both sides, for non- USA citizen applicants.

Business Visa

  • Submit your U.S. Passport, must have at least 6 months remaining validity.
  • 2 Visa Application Forms, completed and signed.
  • 2 Passport-type photographs.
  • Copy of Airline tickets or confirmed Travel Agency/Airline Itinerary.
  • Copy of International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever must be submitted with the visa application. (orginal not required).
  • Notarized invitation on Letterhead from the Host Organization in Ivory Coast.
  • Completed Cover Page and Credit Card Authorization forms (print from browser).
  • A business letter of responsibility (sample) is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to:

HOW TO APPLY FOR IVORY COAST VISA

You can apply for Ivory Coast visa in many different method, apply at the embassy or apply online. Visa The first one, which becomes less and less popular, is the one that involves an application process at the nearest Ivorian embassy. If you choose this method, you need to put together a file containing all the required documents, and then go to the embassy and fill in an application. Just make sure that you call the embassy before going there so that you learn all the requirements from a reliable source. The other method which proved to be the favorite is the online application process. You still need to meet some requirements, but the list is more concise.
