Visitors to Mozambique unless they come from one of the visa exempt countries can obtain a visa on arrival at all border posts or from one of the Mozambican diplomatic missions. Written proof that the applicant has a scholarship in Mozambique or written proof to ensure the attendance of the course;
Applicants should provide one recent passport sized photo.
Applicants should include to the application proof of payment for visa processing fees.
Proof of guaranteed housing and other basic, such as food and transportation needs in Mozambique for students without a scholarship.

The document should have a validity not less than six (6) months / 180 (one hundred eighty) days.
Proof of possession of sufficient funds during the applicant’s stay in Mozambique.
Applicants should provide a copy of airline ticket. The ticket should be for a round trip.

A liability letter, if the visa application is based on invitation by a private entity; the letter should be certified by the Notary Service of Mozambique. The liability letter must include a commitment that ensures that the costs of the stay of the applicant in Mozambique are covered, as well as any costs of repatriation, if necessary.
If a minor is traveling alone or with one parent only, a travel consent document is required. The document should be signed by the parent(s)/ legal guardian and authenticated by the relevant authorities of the country of origin or residence for the past two years.
