Yemen visas are required by all except for citizens of Syria, Jordan, Iraq; transit passengers continuing their journey by the same or first connecting aircraft provided they hold valid onward or return documentation and are not leaving the airport.

The Government of theRepublicofYemenrefuses entry and transit facilities to holders of Israeli passports, or holders of passports containing visas valid or expired forIsraelor any indication, such as entry or exit stamps, that the holder has visitedIsrael.

YEMEN VISA APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

For tourist/visitor visa, the following documents are required:

–          Completed and signed application form.

–          2 recent passport-size photos.

–          Return ticket.

–          Passport which is valid and contain at least one blank visa page.

–          Fee in postal orders or cash; company cheques are accepted.

–          Stamped, self-addressed envelope for postal applications.

–          Letter from travel company organising the trip.

For business visa, the following documents are required:

–          Completed and signed application form.

–          2 recent passport-size photos.

–          Return ticket.

–          Passport which is valid and contain at least one blank visa page.

–          Fee in postal orders or cash; company cheques are accepted.

–          Stamped, self-addressed envelope for postal applications.

–          Letter from company explaining purpose of visit and nature of business.

For work visa, the following documents are required:

–          Completed and signed application form.

–          2 recent passport-size photos.

–          Return ticket.

–          Passport which is valid and contain at least one blank visa page.

–          Fee in postal orders or cash; company cheques are accepted.

–          Stamped, self-addressed envelope for postal applications.

–          Work permit from local authority in Yemen.

HOW TO APPLY FOR AN YEMEN VISA

If you want to apply for a Yemen visa, you should consider the follwing steps:

Step 1: Gather documents

Make a check list of the documents that you need to submit along with your application form. Gather all the documents and keep them ready for submission.

Step 2: Submit visa application

Submit your completed visa application form in person or through a representative or travel agent at the Yemen Embassy or Consulate nearest to you, along with all the required documentation. Pay the applicable fee for your visa application at the time of submitting your application form.

Step 3: Collect your visa

After your visa is issued you will be notified about it. Collect your visa on time.
