Afghanistan, is a landlocked country located within south-central Asia. In accordance with the law, citizens of all countries require a visa to visit Afghanistan. The only exemptions are travellers born in Afghanistan, born to Afghan parents or with parents born in Afghanistan.
Visa exemption applies to holders of diplomatic or service passports of China, India (diplomatic only), Indonesia, Iran, Tajikistan and Turkey for visits up to 30 days.
TYPES OF AFGHANISTAN VISA

This single-entry visa permits stays in ranges of 30, 90, or 180 days. Multiple-entry visas are generally not issued.
This visa is issued for business, economic, commercial, cultural, industrial purposes and working for the governmental or non governmental organizations.
As with the tourist visa, this visa can be valid for stays of 30, 90, or 180 days. Multiple-entry visas are generally not issued.
This type of visa is issued by the Ministry of Interior to the foreign nationals holding ordinary passport, who have already entered Afghanistan with a proper visa. The validity of this type of visa is from one month to six months and can be extended.
These two visa types are issued for anyone conducting diplomatic or official work with the Afghan government.
This type of visa is issued by the Afghan Missions aboard to the foreign students who intend to study in Afghanistan. The relevant university/academic institution must contact the Cultural Relations Department of the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs directly.
If you are passing through Afghanistan en route to another country, you will need this visa, along with a letter of intent. This letter should state your intended length of stay and where you visit if you exit the airport. This visa is valid for up to 3 days.
This type of visa is issued to the foreign nationals who have entered the country with entry work permit visa. The validity of this type of visa is one to six days; in some circumstances this can be extended.

2. Two recent passport size photos (size 3/4 cm)
3. Valid Passport, for at least 6 months
4. A letter of introduction from your employer/sponsor stating the purpose and duration of your trip
